Munich, Germany – June 2026 – At ees Europe 2026, POWEROAD and PowerEdge signed a Strategic Partnership and Distributor Authorization Agreement to jointly develop the Swiss energy storage market.
Under the agreement, PowerEdge will serve as POWEROAD’s official distributor in Switzerland, covering market development, customer engagement, and project execution across both utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) applications.
The partnership combines POWEROAD’s battery energy storage technology platform with PowerEdge’s local engineering capabilities and market presence. The companies aim to support the deployment of BESS in Switzerland, where demand continues to grow amid grid constraints, price volatility, and decarbonization targets.
Henry Hao said the agreement reflects POWEROAD’s long-term strategy in Europe:
“Switzerland is an important market within POWEROAD’s European expansion. Our cooperation with PowerEdge is based on existing collaboration and execution experience. By combining our technology platform with PowerEdge’s local capabilities, we aim to support the deployment of reliable energy storage solutions in the Swiss market.”
The companies stated that the partnership is intended to strengthen local execution capability and improve access to integrated energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial users.
Both parties will continue cooperation on market development and project delivery in Switzerland, with a focus on expanding the application of battery energy storage systems across the region.
