The stadium is renowned for its electric atmosphere, modern facilities, and excellent views of the pitch. Visitors appreciate the clean environment, friendly staff, and convenient access to public transportation and parking options.

The cost of powering lights, HVAC, and other facilities can easily add up, especially during hot summer months. Determined to set a new benchmark for sustainability in sports, the stadium embarked on an ambitious journey to reduce its environmental footprint.

The stadium now benefits from a comprehensive renewable energy system that combines solar power generation, battery energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure.
- Solar Power Generation
Over 1,000 solar panels now cover the stadium roof, delivering an annual output of 475,000 kWh — enough to power more than 135 households. - Battery Energy Storage
Six units of FLEX 215 All-in-One ESS were installed beside the stadium, offering 600 kW of power і 1,290 kWh of capacity. This intelligent battery stores surplus solar energy, smooths out consumption peaks, and enables the club to use more of its self-produced electricity. - EV Charging Infrastructure
Around the stadium, 14 EV charging points provide convenient and sustainable charging options for electric vehicles during matches and events.

With its integrated system of solar power, BESS and EV charging, this well-known Belgian football stadium has become a benchmark for low-carbon sports facilities. The combination of clean energy generation and energy storage greatly increases the utilization of renewable power, ensuring that a large share of the stadium’s electricity now comes from sustainable sources.
