Driven by a vision to become the most sustainable equestrian center in the Netherlands, the owner initiated a comprehensive sustainable PV+ESS project. This system seamlessly stores excess solar energy generated during the day, relieving the company from grid congestion constraints and ensuring ample electricity supply for the center’s operations while even powering irrigation pumps at night. The owner will also plan to power AC chargers for electric vehicles from the batteries and transition to energy-efficient heating systems. With this innovative energy management, the equestrian center is poised to achieve near-zero electricity costs and emerge as a beacon of sustainability in the Dutch equestrian landscape.
