Despite this trend, the widespread adoption of EVs is still challenged by insufficient grid capacity. However, integrating charging infrastructure with solar power generation and energy storage systems offers a promising way to overcome grid limitations while maximizing the use of renewable energy.

An office building in the Netherlands faced this very challenge. While the owner wanted to install solar panels and EV charging stations with 28 charging points as part of a sustainability initiative, the local grid simply lacked the capacity to support the additional load from multiple chargers.

To overcome this challenge, we delivered a FLEX 215 All-in-one Air Cooling Outdoor Cabinet ESS with a capacity of 125 kW / 215 kWh:
✅ Solar Energy Optimization: The battery stores excess solar energy and releases it when needed, reducing dependency on the grid.
✅ Unstoppable Charging Power: With solar carport installed, these components form a scalable and intelligent infrastructure that balances energy demand, maximizes the use of renewables, and ensures 24/7 charging.
