POWEROAD’s Sales Lead Lin Tao was interviewed by Serbia’s public media channel, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS1), about the growing role of battery energy storage in supporting Serbia’s renewable energy expansion during the international renewable energy event KEY Energy in Rimini.
According to RTS1, Serbia is accelerating its energy transition, aiming for over 45% of its energy to come from renewable sources by 2030. In the past year alone, wind power production increased by 17%, while solar energy grew by 3%, highlighting the critical role of energy storage in balancing renewables and stabilizing the grid.
“We are excited to share insights on how advanced energy storage solutions can accelerate renewable integration and strengthen grid reliability. POWEROAD is committed to supporting the region with reliable, scalable storage systems.” Lin Tao said.
POWEROAD’s first energy storage project in Serbia is ready for deployment. The project showcases POWEROAD’s advanced battery management, intelligent thermal control, and flexible design, ensuring safe and stable operation in diverse climates and grid conditions.
As Southeast Europe continues to expand renewable energy capacity, energy storage is increasingly recognized as an essential component of new energy infrastructure. POWEROAD is well-positioned to support the region with expertise and solutions, building on extensive experience in project delivery.
