Průmyslový projekt ESS

Průmyslový projekt ESS: Napájení udržitelnosti pro nizozemského výrobce potravin

Pozadí:

A renowned producer of handmade ready-to-eat foods in the Netherlands sought to address rising energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint. To enhance sustainability, they installed 250 solar panels on their factory rooftop, generating clean solar power for their operations. However, energy fluctuations and grid dependency remained key challenges:

  1. Solar Variability: Solar production didn’t always align with the factory’s energy demand, leading to underutilization of generated power.
  2. Rising Energy Costs: High demand charges during peak hours increased operational expenses.
  3. Grid Dependency: The factory needed a solution to improve self-sufficiency and ensure a stable energy supply.

Řešení:

K řešení těchto problémů poskytla společnost POWEROAD své FLEX 215 Chlazení vzduchem venkovní skříně ESS with a capacity of 62.5kW/215kWh. This comprehensive solution enabled the factory to:

✅ Store Excess Solar Energy: The POWEROAD FLEX 215 ESS charges during off-peak hours and when surplus solar power is generated.

✅ Peak Shaving: Stored energy is utilized during peak demand periods, reducing grid reliance and lowering demand charges.

✅ Maximize Self-Sufficiency: By effectively managing solar self-consumption, the factory reduces energy costs while optimizing clean energy utilization.

By integrating POWEROAD’s energy storage solution, the Dutch food producer has achieved energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost reductions. This project demonstrates how businesses can optimize solar power and energy storage to tackle energy challenges while contributing to a greener future.
