Project Overview

The client, a prominent camping equipment retailer, has equipped their warehouse with a large number of photovoltaic panels installed on the rooftop. To maximize the benefits of their solar installation, they sought a solution that could efficiently store excess solar energy generated during the day and utilize it to power their warehouse operations. POWEROAD provided the perfect solution with our FLEX 215 Air Cooling Outdoor Cabinet ESS, featuring a capacity of 1MW/2.15MWh.

  • Efficient Deployment: The deployment of this 2.15MWh project was efficiently executed using only oneforklift. Despite being located in a confined indoor space,the POWEROAD Cabinet ESS fits easily and was deployed smoothly. The back-to-back placement of the cabinets facilitates easy access for the O&M department and allows for convenient movement around the site.
  • Insurance Coverage: The FLEX 215 ESS is covered by insurance, which provesits exceptional safety and reliability, as this is an indoor ESS project and only products with high safety standards could be insured.
  • Pre-Assembled and Pre-Commissioned:The solution comes pre-assembled and pre-commissioned, simplifying both installation and operation, and ensuring a smoother deployment process.

 

Application

  • Solar Self-Consumption:POWEROAD FLEX 215 ESS stores surplus energy produced by the PV panels, allowing the warehouse to operate independently from the grid, especially during peak hours, whichenhances self-sufficiency and ensures a reliable power supply.
  • Peak Shaving: By using stored energy during periods of high demand, POWEROAD FLEX 215 helps reduce peak load on the grid. This application is crucial for managing electricity costs and improving overall grid stability.
