From March 6-8, local time, SolarTECH Indonesia 2024 was held in Jakarta International Expo. Solatech Indonesia is held to support government’s plan to achieve Net Zero Emission by featuring the largest exhibition in Southeast Asia that focuses on the Solar Power and Energy Storage Systems. POWEROAD brought its latest technology and multi-scenario energy solutions to the exhibition, and continued to empower global customers with the innovative development of energy storage systems.
Indonesia has significant potential for renewable energy resources of 3,600+ Giga Watt (GW) of which solar power potential is over 3,200 GW. The Indonesian government has made a commitment to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2060. Solar Power Systems is the most rational technology choice for Indonesia to achieve decarbonization in 2060.
According to the research institute Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), Indonesia’s household rooftop solar potential amounts to 194-655 GWp. 17.8% of the installed capacity can be realized from a market perspective and taking into account the affordability of homeowners.
